Getting To Know Josh Darrow:

1. Where did you grow up? What high school did you attend?

I was born and raised in Bakersfield and attended North High School.

2. So you are a home grown Bakersfield native, what is so great about growing up in Bakersfield?

All of my family and friends live here so it's easy for me to stay. The other great thing about Bakersfield is the fact that it's centrally located in between the mountains and the beach.

3. Becoming a real estate appraiser is not something that someone enters into lightly, it takes a lot of work and commitment, obviously, what made you choose this career path?

I have always been interested in real estate. I did some research on which route I wanted to take and appraisal was the area that interested me most.

4. What do you like most about appraising?

I think the part I enjoy most is the fact that with appraisal you aren't always sitting behind a desk, your out side a lot of the time and interacting with clients. It is also very challenging, every property is very different in its own way, its never boring.

5. In your down time what activities are you involved in?

In my off time I enjoy being with my family and friends, going to the gym, biking, snowboarding, surfing, camping, and fishing.
